Plain terms covering orders placed through this site, and what happens to your information along the way. The shop operates from 40 Dutch Row Rd, Monroeville, New Jersey. Placing an order means you accept these terms.

Terms

What you are buying

Remote calibration is a service that results in a digital file, not a physical product. Nothing is shipped. Your calibration is delivered electronically to the support ticket created with your order. In-person dyno work is a booked service performed at the shop by appointment, and the booking secures shop and dyno time.

What we need from you

A calibration can only be written from accurate information. You are responsible for the vehicle details you submit: year, make, model, VIN where applicable, engine, transmission, fuel and the full list of modifications, including anything installed by a previous owner. For remote work you also supply the stock file from your vehicle and hold a compatible device to read and flash it.

Revisions

Remote calibrations include revisions. Send a datalog and the file is adjusted until it runs correctly for the combination you described. Revisions cover the vehicle and modification list on your original order. Adding or changing hardware afterwards is new work, quoted separately.

Flashing the file

You install the calibration yourself. Follow the instructions supplied with it, use the device the file was written for, and load the correct file to the correct vehicle. Do not flash with a low battery or while the vehicle is moving. An interrupted flash can leave a control module unusable, and recovering one is not covered by your order.

Safety and testing

Test changes somewhere it is safe and legal to do so. Public roads are not a place to find the limit of a modified vehicle. Before running increased power, make sure the vehicle is up to it. Brakes, tyres, cooling, fuel system and driveline all matter, as does the condition of what is already fitted.

Your calibration file

A calibration is written for one vehicle and licensed to you for that vehicle. It is not for resale, redistribution, publication, or loading onto other cars. Sharing a file, or having one reverse engineered or copied, ends any support and revisions attached to your order.

Devices and third-party software

Handheld programmers and tuning software from other companies, including SCT, HP Tuners, Holley EFI and ACES EFI, are their products, not ours. We are not affiliated with them and their own licences apply. You are responsible for holding a valid, appropriately licensed device with credits available where those are required.

Modified vehicles, emissions and intended use

Calibration work alters how an engine runs. Depending on the vehicle and the changes involved, a modified vehicle may not be legal to operate on public roads, and altering or removing emissions equipment is regulated by federal and state law. You are responsible for how your vehicle is used and for complying with the law where you live and drive. Work intended for competition or off-road use should be used only for that.

Warranty and risk

Modifying a vehicle can affect a manufacturer warranty, and whether a claim is honoured is between you and your manufacturer or dealer. Performance work carries risk. Engines, drivetrains and related components can fail, and a vehicle with pre-existing wear, damage or unreported modifications is more likely to. Our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. They may be updated. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it.

Privacy

The short version

We collect what is needed to write your calibration and to reach you about it. We do not sell it, and this site runs no advertising trackers.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address and phone number, and the vehicle details you enter: year, make, model, VIN if you provide one, engine, transmission, fuel, your modification list and any notes. The VIN field is optional. If you contact the shop by phone or through support, we hold what you send in order to answer you.

Card details

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number is entered directly into Stripe's payment form and is never received or stored by this website. We see only the result of the payment and a reference number for it.

Where your order information goes

Order details travel with the payment to Stripe, and are then used to open a support ticket in Freshdesk so the shop has your vehicle information in one place while the work is done. Those two services are the only places your order information is sent.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels or third-party marketing cookies. Links to Instagram and Facebook are ordinary links. Once you follow one, that platform's own terms apply.

How long it is kept, and your choices

Order and vehicle information is kept while it is useful for supporting your tune, including revisions and later work on the same vehicle, and to meet ordinary business and tax record requirements. You can ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do what the law allows. Some states, including California, give residents additional rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Delivery

Remote tuning is fully digital and nothing ships. The finished file is delivered to your support ticket, and you flash it yourself with your own device. Dyno work happens in person at the shop in Monroeville, by appointment.

Refunds and cancellations

Because a remote calibration is written specifically for your vehicle, it cannot be returned once it has been delivered. If you have paid and no calibration has been written yet, contact the shop and we will work it out. Dyno appointments cancelled with reasonable notice can be rescheduled. Contact the shop as early as you can.
